You never know. My first Phantom went down after it lost a fight with a tree. I saw it crash and immediately tried to kill the motors. Apparently the signal wasn't received. By the time I got to the crash site it was upside down and two of the props couldn't turn because of debris. The motors had overheated enough to melt the motor mounts in the lower shell. I ended up replacing the lower shell, two motors, and two ESC boards. Fortunately no fire resulted.
