Raccoon kits were born in South Georgia in late May. Now they are old enough to go with their mamas to explore their world. The first stop was the 'Raccoon Cafe' in my back yard. These little ones were about 50 ft. from me so I did some major cropping. Not much I can do with these 'models'; just hope to get a shot off before they bolt! If I didn't live next door to a wildlife management area, I wouldn't have an opportunity like this.

Cute babies. When I lived in the country in Nova Scotia it was rare to see a Raccoon. Now that I live in the city they are every where.

rlaugh and thehing, thank you for looking. Raccoons are good neighbors when we are all living in the woods. Might not be so great if living in a city.
I am confused about the location of this post. I looked for it on today's forum and did not find it. Admin says it is there and apparently it is posted somewhere, because you saw it. Now I wonder if there are multiple editions of daily postings. I see it listed on My Postings, but not on the forum index that came this morning. I'm missing something.

angler, What kind of fish are you holding in your avatar? I have been wondering about that for a while now. Glad you like the raccoon shots. I probably have more 'coon' pictures than anything else.
