WTH is a replicable camera dealer? Go with B&H or Adorama. I have NEVER had a bad experience with them buying used, refurbished or new.

Abes of maine has a bad rep, it's a name that once belonged to a decent company. never heard of the other. Being in New York wouldn't Adorama and B&H be decent options for you?

Stay away from Abe's Of Maine. Lots of bad stories.

BTW - if you're asking because you've found items with prices that seem too good to be true, it's because it is too good to be true. Stick with Roberts (my favorite), B&H, etc.

No experience with them. I use B&H almost exclusively.

I looked up both companies on the internet. Abe's was about 45%/55% good/bad reports. Buydig was about 10%/90% good/bad report. Both companies are probably drop shippers, which means high chance of non-USA warranties or gray market.
Buy from Adorama or B&H and save yourself some headaches.

Just my opinon

Neither Abe’s nor BuyDig seem to have a solidly reputable record. You may want to Google both names to check further. Too many other big and ‘less big’ companies out there that are known to be good to risk your money on a bad purchasing experience.

Abes of Maine took scamming to a new level.

They will post good reviews in order to boost their rating. Yes, they do try to cheat the system.

If you are in NY, Unique Photo in NJ and Hunt's in MA will provide personal service and prices similar to and in some cases even a bit lower than Adorama and B&H. Gary at Hunt's is a great person to deal with. No need to get involved with Abe's or BuyDig.

Sage words. We've all been burned with an on line vendor.

Bought a P&S from Abe's. They didn't ship until I returned their call regarding a 'question about my order'. The 'question' was just to try to upsell a long list of overpriced junk. Never went back to them after that.
I bought a 42" plasma TV from Buydig 10 or 15 years ago. I think it was first big purchase on line. I was very pleased and impressed with the service at the time. I'm still watching the same TV as I write this.

I'll second the motion for Hunt's. Fortunately, there are three of their stores within 30 minutes of me so I don't have to order on line. On two occasions I've called to order lenses that were out of stock everywhere. Hunt's had them in stock and I was able to pick them up right away.

Roberts have a long history of being good people.

I'm not wanting to diss anyone on here but nobody seems to want to say WHY Abe's has the reputation it does. So here are some websites with reviews of people's experience:
