Yes, those are big empty words after the fact.
Have they ever had an active shooter in his command?
If not, he is completely clueless what his deputies will do. Certainly after Florida every dept in the country will probably say the same thing. But it sure sounds good. Let’s hope it works as well.
A well planned shooter can still take out at least an entire classroom before they are engaged no matter WHAT happens.
The talk you should be hearing is how a shooter will NEVER even be able to get into the school.
My local school district had already changed 2/3s of the locks with prior remodels and will now move up to this year to change the remainder at a cost of 1/2 million $.
