I'm seriously thinking about printing the original joke out and giving it to my mail carrier. He'll love it!

I know. And, it' a bad one.
It's not the truth that hurts it's the sudden realization of it.

Starting with my first job at age eleven delivering milk with the local milkman at 1AM every other day, having worked as an Architect/Engineer in eight different countries, in 49 Staes and on four different continents, no one EVER told me to be late or do any ball-scratching or coffee drinking!!----and that has held true for the SEVENTY-FIVE years that I have worked steadily, even when going to School/College/Universities!!
Is anyone PROUD of those sad work ethics??? "Government job or not"
This is a true story about a first class RR. One day a higher manager did a spot review and came by the office for a look around. While doing a tour they went into a sand building where they dried sand for the engines and on the warm pile was an employee sleeping. The Manager said don't wake him, he has a job as long as he is sleeping, but as soon as he wakes - fire him!

Update - he loved it too, said he'd post it but I don't believe him on that.

I don't think my mail carrier works on Saturday any more. I never get mail. But Monday the box is full.
