In looking at this photo I am reminded of the novel "The things they carried", or at least it's theme. Specifically I am fascinated by the camera and cell phone the guy in the center of the photo has. They seem oddly out of place to me, or that there is a story related to them.
Looking again only one of the three has eye glasses. I suspect the other two have had cataract surgery. Usually by that age you need corrective lenses. With cataract surgery many, myself included no longer need glasses for distance vision. An extra blessing along with getting rid of the cataracts. I have an idea the guy with the glasses tucked in his shirt wears them for close work. That is unless they bother him using the viewfinder on that camera.

As usual, excellent work Voss.
Thanks, Dave. The story is easy; there's a parade coming along shortly.

Maybe he can compensate enough by adjusting the viewfinder.
