I could modestly say, "That's where he was standing", but honestly, seeing the contrast between his bright breast and the green is what made me grab my camera and run out on the deck. Thank you.

Growing up in Illinois, this shot reminded me of being a kid and watching every day for the first Robin because that meant Spring was finally here. Obviously, this poor bird did not get the email about the correct date. Great capture...love the colors.

On tonight's local news, they reported that we received another 3" of snow today, bringing our season total to 90", 10th on the all time list. No wonder he was confused.
