wow, was I wrong! the last of the evening sun catching him in the branches was the cause of the "blue glow". he looks so blue, it looks a little phony, but when I tried to tone it down it just went drab. wished that the garage in the background was a different color, but that's nature fer ya.
first time I've taken the 150-600 out in the yard for a shoot. it was so dark looking through that thing I couldn't even see if it was focusing where I wanted.
miss my 300 f2.8 I traded to get this one. I would usually use the 80-200 to shoot this stuff, but wanted to try the new one at 600 to see what it would do. not unhappy with the sharpness.
