I am going to put 14 pictures on some kind storage device. Is it best to use a CD, DVD, or flash drive? I will not be using any type of download or dropbox, only a tangible storage. I hope I'm explaining this clearly.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!!

Deliver them as the client wishes.

CD’s is the cheapest. But some laptops and for sure pads may not have a CD drive anymore. So if you can find Thumb Drives cheap enough to give away, would be better!

Smaller thumb-drives are selling dirt cheap these days. You can buy half a dozen smaller ones on eBay for cheap. I seem to remember getting a pile of 4gig ones for a few bucks each a while back.
I'm using one later today to deliver the file copy of a restoration I did last week. I'll include it with the print.

For the last 5 or so years, I've used dropbox.

I agree with thumb drives. Easier to work with and more compatible with most users. More people are using laptops for their home computers and many of them do not have CD drives in them. My wife was using CD's for all her pictures and I just switched her over to thumb drives. Storage of the CD's was getting to be a problem.

When I was still working I had our all of our proposals, including prints, put on a thumbdrive. The case was imprinted with our logo , name and numbers. When we delivered the written documents we gave them 2. Great advertising, great way to tell a client a story and the small investment of time tells them you are professional and care.

Flash drive. It’s 2018, not 1998.

If it's that few pictures use the free service wetransfer.com and they can download them to their computer.

CPR and WayneT, Thank you for the suggestions of thumb drives. I will look into finding some with a smaller amount of storage.

Daddybear,
Thank you for the great suggestion of having a logo imprinted on the thumb drive! Do you recall where you had them made?

burkphoto,
You are correct!! I was going to use what I still had on hand since the number of pictures were small. Thanks for the input :)

Honestly, Dropbox is the professional way. You set up a folder, give the client access for downloading. They get an email from Dropbox under your name and they can d/l them whenever they want. I leave shares up for a few weeks, or as long as a project lasts. And, these are copies of images, not the originals.
