I have an opportunity to buy a Sigma 70-300, 1:4-5.6 D DL Macro lenses for $30.00. Now for the dopey part. The owner had in on a Nikon D50 and I want to use it on my Nikon D610. I am not familiar with the D50 except that it is a crop sensor and mine is a full frame. Will this work and if not what limitations will their be?
Thanks "Muchly"

Thanks AK ... I think I will "scarf" that puppy up while it lasts. I mean $30 is "an Entertainment Value"

It should work fine. It is the same mount just put it on and see how the electronics work.

I had one of those lenses. Gave it to my oldest son along with an 18-55 Nikkor and a D70s. Not bad for a consumer grade lens.

That's about the right price for it if is clean as a whistle.

Here is one in Sony mount for $34

It will cover the D610's sensor. The more important question is do you want this lens?

Unless it has a scratch on the lense or a bullet hole through the barrel for $30 it should be good enough for a few shots of training.

$30 sounds suspicious.
