hello my name is robert, from las vegas, NV. Im a videographer.just learning to take pictures with my 60D. needed help. found this site WOW! learning alot i have a problem. don't know if its my len(18-135) or my canon 60D.when taking picture i have a black spot on my pictures.
Hi Rob, I don't see black spot on the 3rd pic. Does it comes & goes? Could be you lens & or camera needs some internal cleaning (not by yourself but have authorized pro do it)
Thanks for sharing. :P
You had a bugger on the sensor. If it were in on the lens it would never be that sharp. These can easily be removed / repaired with software you know. Just thought I'd mention it.
Can't advise for cleaning but there has to be a menu setting to lock up the mirror and carefully blow the dust of the sensor. Please consult your manual.
3rd pic, clean it up with photoshop

Yep, it does come & goes... this time much smaller dot. You mayve an intermittent sensor issue, have authorized repairman check. Hope your camera still under warranty.
:-(
So this could be a camera defect?

Manual says you have a manual sensor cleaning feature on that camera. Check the manual.
This camera may have a special cover over the sensor preventing a big particle from leaving the sensor automatically.
Read the manual or get it into the hands of someone who know how to clean the sensor safely.
thank you ..im read my manual now
