I bought a chevy convertible when I went into the service. I came out of the service after four years with the same car and a wife. Don't know if it was me or the car. Car was the same vintage as yours and I loved that car and sadly miss it. Fortunately I still have wife.

Had a "61"BelAir 2 door hard top. It was a great car, and fast. Black with red inside. Nice shot !

Saw a 1961 restored Impala Bubble top.... (the short roof) on the street this morning. My favorite Impala. Reminder that the show car season is starting soon. About a dozen local shows from April to September. Each show attracts from about 200 to 350 cars at various communities within a 50 mile radius.

I can't tell a Mercedes from a Kia. No real individuality from the car manufacturers. I would prefer one of my 80's cars to any new models (for stylish looks).

Nice ... just remembered that the 327 didn't come out until '62. I once had a '58 with a 348.
