Nice one - I'm a big fan of simple door shots. i like the composition too.

(In fact, I'm a big fan of the small details in anything. I like images that show wood grains and textures. I like tree bark & old, aged things as well).

Thanks for the kind words. I appreciate them.

Looked at your site and liked what I saw. Keep up the good work.

I like it. I personally would like it that much more if you cropped of a little bit of the right side where that other door starts. That would make the door look like it's hidden away by itself. But that's my opinion. Nice shot.

Lynn, when you're right, you're right.

Thanks,

great sense of texture, composition: expecially the sunlight on the right side of the door.

Thank you. The last moments of daylight, that magic light helped.

I love anything with the color of amber. That scene would be a great background for many different things. Perhaps a Bride or perhaps a fragile person holding a key to the entrance. It is good just as it is.

Too bad it's over 400 miles away.

Thanks,

Al

Thanks. And speaking of BEE-U-T-FUL, I'll trade my location here in West Texas panhandle for yours. LOL

Thank you. This is one of the Five Sister Missions in San Antonio [this includes the Alamo]. If you ever get to San Antonio, I urge you to explore all of these beautiful ladies. You won't be disappointed.
