A few Mountain Hares (Lepus timidus) taken in the Lammermuir Hills of East Lothian. There was virtually no snow when these were taken and so these animals knew they were potential prey in their white coats.

They all are good photo’s but i think the 2, and 4 are the best. Love the contrast of the hare and the grass. Have you tried to crop the 4 and put the hare in the lower right 3rd?

Excellent shots David..but I think no.4 could be improved, and be the pick of the bunch by cropping.
