Last night's sunset

I was driving home at sunset time and it was looking like the sky was going to be colorful. So I maybe exceeded the speed limit a bit to get to this old barn along the road to see if I could get the sun showing through the open doors it has... Settled for it off to the side right before it sunk out of sight, as I couldn't get over the fence and out into the field quick enough for the open door look I had in mind.

Since you didn't mention a getting a ticket.. I would say it was worth a lil speeding. :) Nice!

this is stunning, plessner! What vibrancy! Sometimes we're just given the shot and so you take it. Not sure what you had in mind, but this is perfect.

Spectacular! I have done the same as you more than once- speeding to get somewhere before the "perfect moment" ended. Usually there is a very limited window of time. Try explaining that to someone not a photographer- they just look at you with -huh, really. :) .

yes plus pulling way over to the side of the road to park as trucks go by, and going into the ditch of snow with no boots on
but as a magnet I have on my fridge says--life is short-take the scenic route
sometimes I just have to hurry up to get there on time
