Ricardo,
Can't access this Washington Post site. It wants you to pay a dollar or sign up for a subscription at $15/month.
I hate when they do that.

Google “Sally Mann Exhibit, Washington, DC” for details. However...the museum is closed today, March 2, 2018, due to inclement weather in DC.

I am going to the Gallery today and will definitely include her display in my day. Thanks for posting, i didn't see it two days ago when i was there. Is it in the East or West building?
Bee ZarO photos indeed, really interesting POV and cropping.

Actually, the exhibit opens tomorrow, March 4. Hope you're still in town.
NGA's photo exhibitions are generally in the West building.
Get there early.

Luckily the 4th was not correct. The exhibit was open on the 3rd and located on the ground floor on the west side of the west building. It was a wonderful exhibit. A perfect example of how to break the rules. She clips her highlights, crushes her shadows, and in many cases leaves the whole frame out of focus all with using the equivalent of a super dirty sensor with her silver plates. What would be a delete coming out of my camera turned out to be magnificent art. I learned a lot at this show.
