There's tons of courses out there. Most with a pricetag. FAA site is very helpful. Basic test requires plenty of basic "airman" knowledge. I'll start logging what I encounter. Yes, no drone yet. I didn't have a motorcycle until I had my learner's permit. I plan to move forward at a good pace.
Like with anything there's a learning curve. I fly the DJI Phantom 3 Advanced now. Pretty nice. Not the latest greatest but in my budget. My first drone was the DJI Phantom 2 Vision. I called it my crash test dummy for good reason. It finally ended up in a small lake for all I know. With my P3A I've approached things a lot slower. I've crashed it but haven't lost it. Yet. I'm mainly looking into the residential and commercial real estate market. That the reason I'm asking about the 107. I also enjoy it just from a photography standpoint. It's a whole new perspective shooting from the air. Photos you could never get from the ground.
I started with dirt bikes at an early age. Almost had a dealer sponsor ride until I turned my right ankle into a jigsaw puzzle. I never cared for road bikes. I'd rather hit a tree than an an 18-wheeler.
