I received my new lens today. I think I'm going to love it. Here is the first test shot I took. Any thoughts?

I actually can't find a sharp point. You picked a tough subject for depth of field.

Now that I look at it more closely on a bigger screen, you've got a point. Take a look at this version. I just re-shot it. Thanks for the candid observation, Dick

I own this lens but don't use an aperture past f11 because the sharpness is pitiful past f11.

By the way, the dxomark tests reveal that the sharpness can vary depending on what body you are using. You can "enter" your camera body to see how it comes out.
