That is interesting LUC seems to be the 1870 original. We have a Loyola Marymount University (LMU) in the Los Angeles area, begun under different names in 1865.
What does she think she is majoring in? Good luck to her.

I'm sure you will treasure these shots. I have similar images from my daughter's visit to U. of Oregon. The black and white image of your daughter moves above the snapshot level (her wind blown hair) and is a quite engaging portrait. Congratulations.

She wants to study neurobiology, aiming for the medical field. Her first choices are Ohio State and Loyola. Then she won The Lilly Scholarship, which limits her to attending an Indiana school. Her preferences are now Indiana U and Notre Dame. The Lilly Scholarship is a full ride scholarship to any Indiana college. She has been accepted by Loyola, Ohio State, IU, Butler, Purdue, U of Michigan, and three dozen she didn't even apply to.
Needless to say, she takes after her mother.

I assume you are the proud poppa, so congratulations, hope you are prepared for this. She sure seems to have a great smile, you did a nice job considering the lighting, she seems to have had a problem keeping her eyes open.

She finally got her braces off a few weeks before. All she has done since is smile.
It was a tough lighting shoot. And in between each shot was a whine and grumble.
We are really proud of her winning her Lilly Scholarship.
