It would have been funnier if I hadn’t heard half of those things over the years when I brought my car in for service. Dangerfield was a super funny guy. Thanks for sharing the link
They don't make 'em like Rodney any more. Got any of his "I ain't never get any respect' routines.

I spent my career as a sound editor and worked with Rodney in 1986 on his movie "Back To School." He came to the looping studio (in New York) dressed in a robe and slippers. He was a nice guy and stereo-typical Rodney Dangerfield...friendly and wry. He walked into the studio, pulled a joint out from the pocket of his robe and announced that he was the "world's oldest hophead." He didn't tell jokes that day. He was all business as we had a lot of work to do. But he did offer joints all around. (He had a pocket full of them.) No one took him up on that as we were too busy and smoking anything in the studio was strictly verboten. He got a visit that day from Robert Downey Jr. It was an interesting time.

My favorite one was: " My wife told me to take out the garbage. I told her I did already. She told me to go out and keep it company."
My wife, she's somethun else...She signed me up for a bridge club....I jump next Tuesday.!
