Nice shots, it looks exactly like where I live. I was driving on that road Monday afternoon. You should have stopped at the Strasburg railroad while you were in the area and taken some shots of the trains. The Railroad Museum across the road has some great photo oops.

Nice photos! Brings back memories of traveling around the Lancaster, PA Amish town. I lived in PA for many years and when I travel to visit family, I always take a day to go back in time seeing the Amish community. Lillian

I love the Railroad Museum. We stop there often and have taken the scenic train several times. There are lots of photo ops there.

There sure are, I haven't stopped there for years. I think a trip in the spring is in order for me.
Nice steam engine photo. I might try to photograph the caboose motel on my trek.

When my children were small, we often took them for lunch in the railroad car restaurant at the museum. Then once we stayed overnight at the Red Caboose motel. Good shots of the country side, Phred. I just wish that the roads there had shoulders for pulling-off and taking shots.

Great shots. Brings back some nice memories. That third one looks like you caught the rush hour.

I agree, the roads are narrow at places. I never ate in the restaurant however I did get to spend a weekend at the red caboose. I live about 20 miles north west of there. The whole Strasburg area is a great place for photo ops.

Yes it is still pretty landscape in that area. The roads are narrow so I shot from inside my wife's truck. Put on the 4 way flashers and shoot quickly. Thanks for looking.

Nice photos, Phred. I've been up and down those roads many, many times. Love the Amish country. I live in Harford County, MD and I'm only 1 1/4 hours from there.
