So Many Holes...

Just a fun little project - a combination of simple geometric patterns and bold colors, with a surrealistic theme. Perhaps it may inspire some of you to do something similar. Comments always welcome.

Your creative mind is always engaged! Curious about trying a smaller figure (or composite) and even vaster hole-filled space

I like your suggestion of using a smaller figure; this should make the holes appear more overwhelming. Yes, I must try it!
Thank you, Linda.

Very neat idea. Good way to spend your photography time when it is raining or snowing outside.

Oh, for sure. Although this shot was taken outdoors (the holes grid pictured is actually the seat of a park bench!), this type of shot can be done indoors. Sometimes indoors works better, as one has more control over lighting, a greater number of shooting angle options, a more convenient access to props, etc.

I am sure countless people walked past that bench and never gave it a second thought. Nice thinking outside the box

One of the fun things about this image is that we don't know if he has a face, since it is a toy. That being the case, he/she could be facing either way! Colors and patterns repeating are the keys here. Very playful and very entertaining.

I feel the ambiguity of the figure plays an important role; the meaning of the image as a whole is left open to interpretation by the viewer.
