Faux News and most of the right wing h**e media is broadcasting pure poison now days. Smearing and lying about victims and their surviving family/friends should be off limits. There needs to be limits to broadcasters' power to mislead and poison the minds of millions. What is going on with Faux News for the last couple of years is the most corrosive attack on our democracy yet. I don't see how this should be allowed.

The conversation is not about Teachers defending themselves, but about Teachers tasked with hunting down an armed intruder, having no information of who and where, facing the crazy opponent wildly out-gunned and uninformed.

I think the professionals, the SWAT team, are the ones to emulate, and we see how they handle things—successfully, but slowly, deliberately, with superior weapons, training, and information.

Who is attacking the victims? Certainly not me or anybody else I have seen. These kids took it upon themselves to talk about their feelings and some to DEMAND Congress and the President to accede to their demands. I'm sorry but they are no longer victims but are now willing participants in the system. If they were all for firearms including AR's being owned by the general public your stance would change to the opposite. Victims are those who sit home and weep. These kids are being willing pawns for CNN and you Liberals.

What lies are being told? Everything bad about the Broward Sheriff's Department I have heard is true. They screwed up. The FBI screwed up. The deputies at the scene who refused to go in screwed up. CNN screwed up by not letting the victims tell their own stories and ask their own questions but rather TOLD the victims what to say and what to ask. If you have a b***h about broadcasters then direct it to CNN rather than FOX News.

I am not where you get your information but nobody on the Right has even suggested that teachers are tasked with the job that SWAT or police officers should do. All anyone is saying is that teachers, volunteers, whoever be trained with a firearm and have it handy just in case the shooter breaks into a room with the teacher and children and who will be be able to take out the shooter IF he enters the room. I don't know where you people get the idea that the President, the NRA or anybody else is trying to make anybody a police officer tasked with hunting down the shooter. The teacher or volunteer's job would be to stay with the children for their protection.

To you Amy that may be the case. But explain then why there have been hundreds of teacher volunteers who are wanting to be just the person you are saying would never do this. Many teachers are retired military or police. Many already have the sk**ls necessary and the mindset to protect the students. Why do you on the Left disagree with protecting the students? What is your idea? As I recall it was a Liberal President who wanted schools labeled as Gun Free Zones. How is that working out for America now that we have made students immediate targets for crazy people.

The young generation across the country are pissed and have had it with your generation, particularly those who are part of the decrepit Grump Old Pricks party. The ones who are of legal v****g age are registering in record numbers, and the ones who are not yet of age will be very soon, and are a major factor in the demographic disaster your party is now faced with. Enjoy the last 9 moths or so of your morally bankrupt party's majority in Congress, because it may be the last. Say hello to the new youth movement and pissed off anti-patriarchy newly registered v**ers. Many of the recent Democratic "upsets" that have been happening across the country this year have consisted of a record number of younger candidates, and female candidates.

You can deny what is happening all you want, and chose to believe in your silly conspiracy theories that these activists are being "manipulated by CNN and your imagined liberal global elite conspiracy" or wh**ever you call it, but the blue wave sweeping across the country that includes a record number of young people registering to v**e says otherwise. I'm sure you will continue to deny reality though for as long as you can, because that's just who you are.
