Good for you. I just got my Canon T7I. If I knew how complicated it was to learn for a 69 year old guy....I would have sent it back. But then....I see an AUTO button.

Good buy. I hope you will enjoy it and use it at it's full capacity.

Nikon removed the ultrasonic sensor cleaner on the D3400. All of Nikon's recent DSLR cameras have had that feature. You might have to get a blower if dust bunnies appear in photos. I have the Koh Global Hepa Jet Air II blower. It has a large hepa filter, an anti-static filter, a one-way check valve, and a medical grade PVC bulb. Most blowers have a rubber bulb that can shed fine particles. The PVC bulb won't do that. Adorama Camera has it and you can order it directly from Koh Global.

In my experience those ultrasonic cleaners don't prevent the need for a blower. Get one, use it when needed and be happy with a great camera. 😊

Sweet. I learned a lot from my d3100 I owned several years ago. I sold it to a friend and they are loving it. Your d3400 is a nice step up from the older d3100, but it was pretty state of the art back in the day. Looking forward to seeing some of your captures.

I think the camera that took the picture was a good camera.

If it had an aa filter, would the truck still be red?
And soooo glad this wasn't another brown truck post.
