On further review, here are more Tampa Bay photos. All with the Tamron 18-400 on a Nikon D5500.
Great images. I Purchased the same worms to use with my Nikon D500.
Great shots; good promo for the lens!

The 18-400 has been getting great press here on UHH - I'm sure it has helped their sales.
I'm impressed. Thanks for posting.
At my wife's request, I got her one for her D7100 for our last Yellowstone outing and it replaced her 18-140 quite nicely. It does a decent job of flowers and wildlife without changing lenses!

Nice shots indeed. I think people that complain about this lens just don't know how to use it. I have one and think it is a great lens for the money. I use it on a Canon 80D as a main lens. Have posted many photos with this lens in the close up section....Rich
Nice sharp photos with a lens with a great range and priced right at $649.00
Nice set. Looks like that lens will serve you well.
That is really some very impressive results---a beautiful and excellent set, Dean!!
