Lorikeet Landing is my favorite stop at the Portland, OR Zoo. These colorful birds make quite a racket that you can hear from quite a distance. Since you actually walk into their cage there's nothing stopping them from landing all over you. I've had as many as four on me at the same time. You can also get extremely close to them for eyeball popping close-ups. The trick is to pick angles that doesn't show the environment's cage material in the frame. I've been in there so many times I know all the best spots.
