I work in primary care for the VA. I encounter a very broad spectrum of Americans on a daily basis. Many of them are truly great Americans. But it is not unusual for me to encounter patients who are technically what would be called (as Senator Graham referred to President Trump) "bats**t crazy". I see patients who are depressed and angry, some who tell me, when I ask how they are doing: "well, I haven't k**led anyone yet". I recently had a patient tell me: "I was in Vietnam, I am authorized by the US government to be crazy". I have a patient with moderately severe PTSD who is a former sniper. He owns 27 weapons. I am careful not to make him mad at me......

Despite all the talk, there is NO system in place to restrict "the second amendment rights" of any of these folks from buying an AR-15 or a Glock with a 15-round magazine.

Think about that.
