Doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure that one out.

I really h**e it when the tail wags the dog. that the NRA and many other groups can lobby congress with millions and hold more sway than the rest of us pisses me off. we have to stop sanctioned " bribery". there are many type of guns that should not be in the public hands.

Here's an idea that the NRA could get behind. Arm all children over the age of three.

Even better: Arm children over the age of three and t***sport them to attend every single NRA convention and meeting, and make sure that from now on there are always half a dozen children with guns following around that psychopath madman head of the NRA - that worthless piece of human excrement Wayne LaPierre who sees dollar signs in his eyes every time there is another mass shooting.

And then there’s this sub-headline:

Corporations are beginning to drop support in the face of this latest outrage. These young adults are having an impact and they are not like any generation before them. They think, they are far less bigoted and they are the future.

Wow! First they want to take away my gun. Next they will be coming after my car. Cars k**l more people in this country than guns. Put the blame where it belongs. Education, Teach people to speak up when they see a lose canon walking around.

Very good, Hal. That's NRA Gun Nut Script Argument #6: The Official Gun Nut Script Circular Reasoning Guide http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-394654-1.html

#6 — “Guns are just tools.”
This is the just the mas-macho home-improvement version of “guns don’t k**l people, people k**l people”, of course. But it’s one meta-level above that. See, the mass-shooter who k**led a couple dozen or so people at last week’s massacre could have k**led those people in a variety of ways. Maybe with a car. Or a sword. Or a spoon. It’s all about the person and their capabilities, not the tool itself. Focusing on the tool is just typical lazy liberal thinking; we need to focus on the person. And their mental-health, their upbringing, their drug use, their gang membership, their culture’s proclivity to violence…anything and everything as long as it has nothing to do with irrelevant bullcrap such as guns or access to guns - you know, that most insignificant minor detail in the whole scenario not like it had anything to do with the thing that cause peoples' deaths or injuries or anything...

At this point, you will feel compelled to point out that, wait, all tools are optimized to achieve a purpose. So if, say, cars were optimized to jump curbs, plow into crowds and quickly grind up as many people as possible under saw-like wheels, you’d probably support restrictions on that type of “tool” as well. Or maybe that … if tools are tools, why bother buying a handgun for home defense; if any tool is dangerous, why do you need a handgun? Don’t you have spoons? But now that you’re up into a meta-level above guns, the air is too thin for reason, just light-headed analogies.

Hal, once again. Please pay close attention: The primary purpose of cars is to t***sport humans from place to place. Sadly accidents do happen. Since the vast majority of auto fatalities are unintentional, they are called "accidents." The primary purpose of guns, especially the AR - 15, is to k**l at a distance. Why else would the military have adopted the full auto version other than to k**l people rapidly? Therefore the vast majority of fire arm deaths are NOT accidental, but intentional. Think about it. There will be a quiz.

Oh yes: "Education, Teach people to speak up when they see a lose [sic] canon walking around." As a Pentax shooter I worry about loose canons. Or are you talking about Church of England personnel??
