After capturing this image while on a walk in Costa Rica, our guide pulled me back from the snake and said "bad boy, that snake is poisonous, stay back." I then had to clean my lens because the snake tried to bite the lens and left it's saliva all over it. Took me a while to get the adrenaline out of my system.

YIKES! I would have had to clean a lot more than my lens: sm02:! That really is pushing things but sometimes that is the only way to get the shot. Good work and glad you're ok.
