For Sale is Nikon 52mm ED lens drop in gel holder, Nikon AF-1 gelatin filter holder, and a Nikon 39mm drop in filter holder with 39mm B+W circ polarizer in custom geared rotary mount. This was a prototype before production, that is why it is not all anodized black. Works just fine. All three pcs $50.00

Feel free to contact me for any questions.

I know it's sold, but do you have an interesting story of how you got the pre production one ?

I made it. At the time there was no such thing available, just huge filters for on the front of the lens. It was extremely awkward to reach out front of a long telephoto and adjust for reflection plus the added arm movement would frighten animals if you were not in a blind. So I made the rotary geared polarizer which worked great. I also made other specialty equipment that made my job easier. When other photographers would see my designs they would want them so we made them in small quantities they were marketed by a company called Zyco manufacturing. They would get orders at places like the shows in NY (Jacob Javits) and similar venues, and I would take orders from photographers in the field. We made specialized window mounts for heavy lenses, tripod and lens mounting parts, lens mounting brackets( early Nikon 80-200 zoom didn't have one), radially adjustable macro lighting fixture with an adjustable strobe mounting platform, so light could be adjusted at any angle and from any direction around centerline of lense axis, thereby maintaining proper exposure but giving a more natural light than the flat shadowless light a ring light produces. This was a great unit compact and with the optional adjustable mini mag light unit that screwed into the tripod socket on camera you had a flashlight to see your way in darkness and illuminate subject for focus. I could go on but I probably already told you more than you wanted to know. Hope that answered your question! Glenn

Absolutely not more than I wanted to know. Really fascinating. Pleasure to meet you and would love to see some more of the stuff you've done. That minimaglight macro attachment sounds really useful ! Thanks Ben
