Could it be that this young man, unaccustomed to speaking to a national audience, wasn't trying to remember what, according to YOU, he'd rehearsed, but rather was gathering his thoughts? I've never spoken to a national audience, have you? Please remember, he'd been subjected to a horrendous experience, something hardly conducive to a calm response. How would YOU have done in similar circumstances? Inquiring minds want to know.... Or don't you have an inquiring mind? Jus' askin'.....
