Still lifes

I'm practicing still lifes. There is a lot to watch out for. Be aware; everything shows. I cut some things off; I forgot to dust; etc. No. 3 is the 2nd of 12 in my New Year's resolution-- word play in photos. There is a question hidden here. Can you guess what it is?

Yes, the question mark is the handle on the candle holder. Still life shots are hard. Dust is always an issue - that and reflections. Very nice.

Nice images, I like candle photos and have shot a few myself. But hidden message, I'm not really into guessing games with people I don't really know. Friends, I might have some idea what symbols mean to them or their likes. The only things I can associate with burning candles in general is time or light.

Wouldn't a title count as "one word"? Actually, the OP mentions a "question", so in any case, my response would be wrong. It will be interesting to see what the correct answer is!

Thanks to all for looking and playing. Yes, the reference was to the movie "Bell, Book, and Candle". You could go further. Kim Novak played a witch (the 3 objects in the photo are symbolic for witches). The Book in this image is Dante's "Divine Comedy". So the ultimate question is which circle of Hell does a witch go to. Groan! My thought processes lead me into strange areas.

I just showed the picture to my husband and he immediately replied, "Bell, Book, and Candle" - he's good!!!
