I took his shot with my iphone while stopping at the Navajo Museum in Monument Valley. I had my Nikon P7800, which has pano feature, but the camera and charger went belly up earlier. I could have taken multiple shots with my Canon 5D/IV and stitched them in PS, but find this far easier. The feature in this shot that appeals to me is the snaking dirt road in mid-photo.

Thanks , the sky was good that day. There were a couple pick-ups moving along the road but too far away to be visible in the shot.

Love this magical place!
There is something (or a lot) to it.
Is this photo taken from the hotel?

Taken from the veranda outside the Navajo Museum. Agree with your assessment of the location.

Great shot except for the distracting people in it.

Amazing what Iphones can do! That's a nice shot, a bit of leveling will help it.

Tks - agree on leveling. Old eyes here miss things like this sometimes.

Aside from the people, great photo. But when a place attracts tourists, it can be difficult to get a photo without those pesky people! Love the way the rock formations just pop up from the ground. And I do see that vehicle on the road near the middle of the photo. Such wide open spaces and great colors, and love that skyline and the sense of distance.

Tks Susan. I could have easily cropped the tourists out, but would have lost some of the formation. Trade-off, I decided to save the formation at the expense of the people clutter. Also, didn't want to bother with editing out the tourists. Oh well . . . .

Enjoyed your pano very much. Was at MV last spring....a major highlight of our trip returning to Montana. I would go back there again in a heart beat, especially with all of the other parks in Utah. Thanks for sharing.

Concur. This trip was waaaaay to fast- not nearly enough time at any of the sites we visited. If I had my drudders, I would have spent couple days at each attraction as opposed to the couple hours at each. The granduer was spectacular the entie trip.
