in the past I've used two methods to get pano shots.
1 stitching 3 or more inages together.
2 using a 8mm lens for a 180 degree image.
my main problem has been that I shoot with a dx sensor but own mostly fx lenses.
my best solution, I mount my 24-70mm fx lense on my Sony slt a-77 and set the camera to sweep panorama.
this way I get either pano or just wide angle images.
