Pringles can for macro photography flash
Very innovative. If you can, would really like to see some resulting photos from your lighting adaptation.
I don't eat Pringles, but might. Is that the original cap or did you alter it?

Pringles can is lined with aluminum foil (shiny surface)

A lot or women would agree, a little bigger is always nicer. However, as men would respond to them, its not how big it is that matters, but how you use it.

I have used this arrangement as a DIY snoot for a speedlight. Thanks for sharing Jim.

Makes that camera look rather chintzy!
'Necessity, Mother of Invention'...great idea and no doubt saved $$$
Pringle's Can = fiber optics
Very clever! I have done something similar with the inside of a paper towel roll, painting it black and attaching it to a Speedlight fitted with a flexible Rogue light modifier. It acts as a "snoot," directing the light into a narrow beam. Handholding the flash off camera, it is fun to use for shooting flowers or plants in a darkened forest.
Great idea. Is your last name Edison?

I'd like to know how you altered the cap, too. Theoretically, you could use a tall beer can, couldn't you?
