What to do when a freelance photographer gets a day off?

I don't get out there as much as I should. This is the Muleshoe National Wildlife Preserve near the Texas,New Mexico line. Early winter there can be over a 100,000 Sand Hill Crane on the water. Hadn't had a weekend to my self since November.
