i wanted to capture a sort of ominous, foreboding feel with these... taken at Gasworks Park in Seattle. used to be, as the name implies, a gasworks, turning coal into gas for use in streetlamps, etc. it was closed down just after WWII, and sat in its own toxic juices for about 20 years till the city bought it in the early 70's. they cleaned it up (mostly) and turned it into a park, but there are still places there with signs that warn you not to dig because of toxic chemicals... 5D, 24-135 @ 99mm, 1/60 @ f/14

Both great shots... Well done.
Great composition. I look at Gasworks from my float home and always find something interesting to shoot.

Nicely done...looks like a scene from the movie, "Dune".
Not too shabby!
Ominous, like a Hollywood horror set.
I would love to see that in person. Nice find and good shots.
