Grandma and grandpa spent a week at Disneyland with our youngest son and his family. Not sure who had the most fun, grandpa or our grand-kids? There were some first for the kids. First airplane ride and first time to Disneyland. I was the designated photographer.

The balloon shot is very creative, love it! Also the sharply angled swing thing. Both are wonderful examples of thinking like a photographer and a parent on vacation simultaneously

Thank you Linda. I haven't been to Disneyland since my daughter was a little girl. She is now 48. I forgot how much fun it was (and big). It has grown over the years. My wife and I also went to Universal Studio's for a day. You mentioned being creative. Now film makers are creative. I was a film editor at KATU in Portland for several years. For me it was interesting to see how movies were filmed before it was handed off to people like me. Yes, I said film, I'm old lol. I was cutting and splicing 16 mm film in the 60's and 70's. Video was just coming into the station in the mid 70's. Where has the time gone? Again, thank you and have a great day.

John

Wonderful for you and your family. Be sure and save these for posterity. My family drove from Missouri to Disneyland 54 years ago when I was a just kid and not a single photo survived of that trip. Great job as well on your photography.

Thank you James. 54 years, you would not recognize it. It has doubled in size since I last visited it in the late 70's. I am in the process of making as coffee table book of our trip. Something the kids can look at many years from now. Take care.

Great photos. The kids always enjoy Disneyland. I haven't been there in a very long time. I must go again to see what was added. They had a power failure there, during opening time not long ago. And the Park had to be closed. Bummer for everyone.

Both big and little kids enjoy Disneyland. It has been many years since I was there with a four and six year old. They wore grandpa out and it was worth it. We lucked out. The weather was beautiful while we were there. Came home to rain. Tonight it is snowing with a expected low of 22. I want to go back to So Cal.
