PAUL, GREAT CAPTURE AND PROCESSING. A very fine image.
Interesting picture. I like the old orange truck. I do have a couple of suggestions. I see you are using Photoshop so knock out the blue back windows so your new background grey is coming through. Assuming your first layer is now the grey background add another new layer just above it and add a black gradient over the bottom 1/3 area. The gradient will not show over the car by placing layers in this order. Gradient will give you more depth and the car will look as if is more planted on the pavement. I can send you a photoshop file to show you how to do it with the layers if you would like. Since this has your signature on it I would send it through Private Message.

Thank you Jim but I did the background replace quite a long time ago and flattened the layers. So the car and gray background are just one layer now.
I got the idea to do the grunge effect on the car this morning. I never noticed the blue black rear window......I’ll have to see if I can fix that some how.
I can do something with the gradient layer and a mask I think to accomplish the depth and pavement effect.
Any other ideas would be appreciated.
I may just start over, select out the car, create the background and then follow your suggestions.
That's an oldie but goody... great looking car.
Paul, I apologize beforehand because for some odd reason, I am a little cranky, therefore my thoughts may seem a little harsh when in reality, I am not trying to be mean : )
O.k., I will be blunt, but with good intentions. This is pretty piss poor so far. But as Jim says, there are things you to improve it. I do think you that you did a pretty good job with the mirrors. I would spend more time, (unfortunately, a lot more time) on your edge work and change the underneath shadows to more closely match that of what would be more realistic. I am speaking from experience. The healing tool comes in handy for this. I would like to see you play with this some more and then do a re-post.
I do have an example of a very similar pic that I did recently. I even did the same thing with the windows as Paul suggested. I will post it here if you would like. It is just lots of practice is all.
I hope I wasn't too mean.
Tom
Great shot of a beautiful car, Paul!
