From a car show I went to a couple of years ago.
Did a bit of background replace and "grunge" in PS
Very nice work. I think removing the shadow under the bumper would improve it even more, or possibly replacing it with a
softer shadow without the grass showing through the grill shadow.

Thanks and I agree about the shadow. I’ve been fussing with it but nothing I do looks right.
Guess I’ll fuss some more.

I originally posted this last week and recieved a couple of suggestions for improvement. In the process of trying to make the suggested improvements I've learned A LOT about PS techniques that I never explored before.
I took out the original shadow under the bumper and added some soft shadows for bumper, tire and fender. I fixed the problem with the back windows showing the original background and just fiddled with it in general. I think the result is an improvement over the original but I've been playing with it so long that I'm probably not a good judge so.....
My kids (30 something year old daughters) say they like it but........they may just be being kind to the old man.
Commentary is solicited.
Also.....does anyone have any tips for making a nice smooth gradient background without banding?
This is a really great improvement, very nice work!
