Thank you. Had to use a lot of soda water before I was able to find the right settings. But it was fun.

Thank you very much.
I have a Nikon D40X. I shoot in raw and manual mode.

For the damselfly: Nikkor 105mm 2.8 macro lens
Shutter speed 1/250, F13, ISO 400. Did not use a tripod but braced the camera on my knees.

The Flycatcher: Sigma 150-500mm, 5.5-6.3 telephoto lens
Shutter speed 1/500, F8 (I think...), focal distance 400mm and used a tripod.

The lemon slice: Nikkor 105mm, 2.8 macro lens
Shutter speed 1/200, F11, ISO 200, on camera flash.

Hope it helps.

Wonderfully sharp pic's. Now, we all want to know what gear you used....camera, lens, setting, etc. We need to learn from someone who takes such sharp photos.

Thank you for the info. We shoot with the same camera. Now I have to convince myself that your shots are better than mine do to better lens. I can't believe it's just lack of skill on my part. LOL!

Great shots. Clear, clean, properly exposed. Keep up the great work.
