Why would you attend this in front of the NRA? The NRA did not shoot the school children nor do they support the school shootings that have taken place. Why would you blame them?

The NRA supports the 2nd Amendment. That is all. But do you know they are/have been the biggest trainer of military and law enforcement in not only shooting but in safety aspects. I learned much from the NRA while I served as a deputy sheriff in California in the 70's. The NRA has also offered training to school children to keep them safe if they find a firearm anywhere in their area.

Each time there is a shooting people like you call for more laws, more prohibitions against firearms, higher taxes on firearms and ammunition making it almost impossible for law abiding Americans to shoot at all. Yes I know that is what you want but please tell us the purpose of these laws. What will they accomplish? If every single firearm and round of ammunition is banned today in America do you honestly think that will make any difference at all with regard to shootings? We already have over 25,000 laws on the books throughout the United States. Not one of them will stop shootings like this. All these laws do is to stop honest people from k*****g others. I have worked 30 years with criminals both arresting them and then babysitting them in a state prison. I have spoken to them at length, male and female, about gun laws and how those laws affect them. Everyone I spoke to, all convicted felons, some for murder and armed robbery, told me to pass all the laws we wanted against firearms. Basically, by definition, these people don't give a s**t about laws. They are criminals. Prison doesn't scare them at all. Most of their family members, either real family members and/or built up prison family members are right there with them. They just don't care about any laws at all. They break laws. That is what they do.

Please explain to us what law could possibly be passed that would have stopped any school shooting anywhere in history around the globe. Give me just one law that would take all of this away in the future. I know you on the Left want something to feel good but it isn't going to happen.

I believe it was either Senator Barbara Boxer or Senator Diane Feinstein who years ago wanted to pass an anti gun law. When asked if it would prevent crime she answered it would not but it would make us feel good having passed the law. It was a start. All these laws do is to stop legally armed citizens from shooting while doing absolutely nothing to stop the criminal use of firearms.

That depends on weather Soros picks up the tab.

Intelligent people know that guns are not the problem.
So many warning signs about the shooter, on the internet, were posted but ignored because of possibly offending someone.

HIPAA is far more to blame than the NRA.

The NRA takes your money to buy political influence so there will not be any restrictions on their future gun sales.

The NRA isn’t interested in what is right, they are interested only in profit for their masters, the gun manufacturers.

Just look at Paul Ryan’s comments from yesterday from the podium at the House of Representatives. He is owned by the NRA.
