We rented a house on a lake for a week with our daughter and family.It was the best memories ever (we are returning this year). The oldest grandson had never fished before - this year he has a list of fish he wants to catch and a list of where he wants to go to fish. He and I slept in a tent one night and hope to a couple tent nights this year. They have talked about it all year. Love making these special memories.

Some of the nicest summer memories I have are from Hawaii and their......"Endless Summers"! Even thought we had the good fortune of living on Oahu for 18 years......it's some of our return visits that linger in my mind. Here's some pictures from a 2013 visit when we drove around Oahu and enjoyed stopping at some of our favorite beaches. Aloha.....Bob

This place is Pointe-au-Pic, Charlevoix Co, Québec and you might hear the name on TV next summer as the G7 will held there in Manoir Richelieu ( Google it) on top of the ridge overlooking the St. Lawrence River. Charlevoix Co. is probably the most beautiful county here.
This café is over a hundred years old. Used to smelt fish nights there50 years ago and the placewould remain open all night for us who spent the night on the pier
