It is perfectly ok to offer suggestions on how to improve a person's photo but it is HOW you do it that determines if you are trying to be helpful or just being a snob. Simply put, it is how you approach it that makes all the difference. There is world of difference between saying "Nice photo but.........." and saying "A very nice photo, if I might offer a suggestion...........".
