Brookgreen Gardens - Murrells Inlet, SC
Founded in 1932 by Archer and Anna Hamilton as a well groomed park featuring sculptures by Anna and other American sculptors. This was once a huge rice producing plantation.
It has been within my travels many times and I am always amazed by the grounds and the artistry of the many standing sculptures.
Thanks for looking and comments welcome.

Cool shots. I've been there, amazing place. When I bought tickets at the gate, the lady said the tickets were good for three days. I looked at my wife and said I wonder why the tickets are for three days? When I left my wife said she could've spent a week in that place! Now I know. Gary

Great captures. Thanks for sharing.
Great shots and it looks to be a very interesting place....
Excellent photos. Wonderful garden and I'm mystified by such beautyful statues. Am putting the Garden on my bucket list. I can see why the tickets are valid for 3 days. I probably would spend a week there. Mahalo for sharing.
Thanks for the great review of a beautiful spot in our state. If you're ever nearby in the late fall when they have the "night of a million lights" it is well worth the time and money to go. The entire gardens and statues are filled with lights and various groups provide entertainment around the gardens. They also have a huge tent for having dinner on the grounds.
