Lola and I were a bit indifferent at first but after a while we became the best of friends. Then, at age of 14, Lola suddenly became very ill. Three vets and two pet hospitals all agreed, and I had to make the hardest decision a pet owner could ever make, to have her put to sleep. Posting this is just a little memorial of her, from me.

I completely sympathize with you. I've lost a few pets in my life. The best consolation is that you gave a critter a good home and most likely they gave you their unconditional love.

That is a very tough time. My condolences. Great capture of personality, as well a very nice photo of Lola.

I really sympathize with you, danlsmith. We have gone through this a number of times, so I know how you feel.. Your picture of Lola is very nice. May you hang onto the memories you have of her.

I am so very sorry and we have experienced this too many times also, and pets are such a large part of many families, including mine!
