I just got a sony cybershot with no paperwork. Don't know a thing about using this camera. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I need to learn a lot! Please help me if you can find the time and I will ba eternaly grateful.

if you go to sony.com go to their camera section they should have a download center whereyou can download the manual in pdf format usually for free. especialy if it is an older model.

Like S-man said start with the manual. Use the search feature here to look up anything you don't understand. Pretty much anything photography related has been discussed here already. Then if you can't find an answer or are still confused ask us. We could start throwing all kinds of information at you but we might confuse you.

The guys are right to tell you to use the downloaded manual. I would also recommend that you shoot photos every day to enjoy and learn about your new have Sony.
PS > What sort of software do you have to edit / improve your photos ?
If you have none, as MAC user, I recommend "i-Photo" for a newbie.

I also just got a Sony cybershot with no paperwork.I had a Nikon D65 w/o paperwork also.I found this site where you can download any manual you need,The cost is a voluntary $3.00 donation is what you find is helpful.the address is mike@butkus.org I hope it helps
