I usually shoot and edit for maximum quality. Next I set my final print size in QImage . This software optimizes for best output . Its sharpening algorithm must be seen to be appreciated .

Agree!
The only time I really pay hyper attention to Aspect Ratio is when sending out to CVS. If you don't hold to 2×3, [4x6] , print cost jumps from ~ 50 cents to 3 dollars!
