A young female whitetail doe. Yes, they do groom themselves and their fawns. Nice picture. Whitetails love corn.

Yeah, but the original idea was to feed the squirrel so she'll stay off the bird feeder. Apparently corn is better for squirrels than birdseed is, but they like sunflower seeds like candy, so this has some of those also.

Great images, rehess! I particularly like the middle “portrait” and the “grooming” image. Very natural poses and settings. We may or may not see the snow this far north, but Northern Indiana and the lower lake shore may see some for sure. Take care down there! /Ralph

Thank you. Around here, we get hit twice - once by "system snow" when the front comes through, and then by "lake effect" as wind wraps around the low and the wind comes from the north, down the length of a really Great Lake
