Old Mill

I found this old mill in North Carolina. The Wheel was turning. The person in charge said that they still use it once a year in September. Show me your old mill.

This is an old mill that was converted to a residence many years ago. It is located in the Mountain Brook area of Birmingham, AL. Not sure exatly how old it is, but I remember it from the 1950's and it was very old then. I suspect it dates back to the late 1800's.

Where abouts is this located I am right outside Bham did not know anything about that one.

I like both equally well and can't chose one over the other. There are times something just jumps at me but I'd hate to have to trash one.

It is on Mountain Brook Parkway just east of Brookwood Mall and Highway 280. There is a historical marker nearby that gives some history of the place.

Thanks will have to go look at that one day I have pictures of the Tannehill Grist Mill but the are packed up.
